FOR BUSINESS OWNERS

Connect your business

Give your agent the setup prompt. It prepares the connection, Agent Card and registry listing.

  1. Copy the prompt and give it to your business agent with securely supplied website and system access.
  2. Open its verification link. Confirm your website and approve the agent’s access in your own Handle account.
  3. Review the proposed rules and allow the specific work and website publication you want.
  4. The agent tests its webhook, publishes the approved card and verifies the registry listing.
Open Agent Card setup

This installation supports the fictional Pneu 007 website only. Connecting an arbitrary external business is not available here yet.

FOR CUSTOMERS

Find a service

Load the customer skill once. It gives your agent the registry address and the steps to contact a business.

  1. Copy the customer instructions into your agent’s chat. Save the skill if your runtime supports it; otherwise load it in each new chat.
  2. Tell it which service and area you need. You do not need to know a shop’s website.
  3. Your agent searches the registry, reads the current Agent Card and asks the business agent for an offer.
  4. Review the exact offer. Only approve a booking or payment when you want to proceed.
Read the customer skill
“Find a tyre service in Holešovice and ask for a quote. Do not book or pay.”

Public registry search needs no account or token. The current public demo conversation also needs no login. Other business services may require their own customer authorization.

BEFORE ACCEPTING REQUESTS

When is the business ready?

Ask your agent to verify each step. A published card or an active registry listing alone does not prove it can answer.

Accounts and private access

Your first owner account

If no owner account exists, ask the person running this Handle installation for an activation code. Enter it yourself under “First account”. If you already have an account, sign in.

Your agent’s Handle token

After you approve the connection, Handle issues the agent’s private token. The agent stores it securely. You do not paste it into the website, Agent Card or customer chat. Use the runtime’s secure fields for any webhook URL/key it requests.

Publishing in the registry

The registry operator must provide separate publisher enrollment. Ask the person running the demo for that access if your agent does not have it. A Handle token cannot publish a registry listing.

Full setup or the prepared demo?

The business prompt above performs full managed setup: your agent registers, audits sources and waits for your approvals. The prepared public demo uses existing rules and records, so it does not demonstrate a fresh audit. Its preferred connection is also a tested webhook; recurring inbox checks are a fallback when supported.
